Senior Research Associate at the Institute for Byzantine Studies of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts Dr Ljubomir Milanović on April 20th 2023 at the Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN, USA, held a lecture on the topic “Sacral topography of the Archbishopric of Ohrid from its founding in the beginning of the 11th to the mid-13th century“. The lecture is part of a larger project entitled “From Barbarians to Christians and Rhomaioi. The Process of Byzantinization in the Central Balkans (late 10th – mid-13th century)“, supported by the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia within the program Ideas (Acronym BarByz_10-13, Grant No. 7748349).

The promotion was held as part of the Lecture Series Events organized by the Department of Classical and Mediterranean Studies, which was also supported by the Departments of Religious Studies, History of Art and Architecture, Jewish Studies, the Program of Religion in the Arts and Contemporary Culture at the Divinity School.
