The results of the third field research within the project “From barbarians to Christians and Rhomaioi. The process of Byzantinization in the Central Balkans (late 10th – mid-13th century)” were presented on September 21, 2022. The research included church monuments and fortresses relevant to the Middle Byzantine period (9th-13th century) in the area of Veles, Prilep and Bitola, as well as the early Byzantine archaeological sites with activity confirmed in the medieval period.
