The Serbian Committee for Byzantine Studies, together with the Board for Byzantine Studies of the SASA and The Institute for Byzantine Studies of the SASA, organized the Seventh National Conference of Byzantine Studies, 22–25 June 2021 in Belgrade. The conference consisted of three parts: thematic session, free communications and discussion forum. The main topic of the conference was "The Serbian-Greek Empire of the Nemanjićs. Idea and Reality". Free communications comprised Byzantine topics, whereas the discussion forum bore the title "Challenges of Modern Byzantology". Members of the Scientific board of the conference were: corresponding member of the SASA, prof. dr Dragan Vojvodić, corresponding member of the SASA, prof. dr Vujadin Ivanišević, dr Srdjan Pirivatrić (president), dr Bojana Krsmanović, prof. dr Smilja Marjanović Dušanić, dr Predrag Komatina, prof. dr Nebojša Porčić, doc. Dr Dejan Dželebdžić, dr Miloš Ivanović, dr Bojana Pavlović Gojković (secretary) and dr Miloš Cvetkovic (secretary).

The Serbian Committee for Byzantine Studies and The Institute for Byzantine Studies of the SASA organized The Sixth National Conference of Byzantine Studies in Belgrade, 18-21 June, 2015. The conference had three thematic sessions. The main session was dedicated to The Kingdom and Archbishopric of Serbian and Maritime lands of the Nemanjić dynasty-towards the 800th Anniversary of the Kingdom and the Autocephalous Church of Serbia. The other two sessions were dedicated to general Byzantine topics and to the challenges of the Contemporary Byzantine Studies. The members of the Organising Committee were: dr Djordje Bubalo, dr Smilja Marjanović Dušanić, dr Srđan Pirivatrić, dr Milan Radujko and Miloš Cvetković, Ph.D Candidate (secretary).
